Ingredients:
400g frog legs
8 clove big garlic
2 spring onion cut to 3cm
8 slice ginger
light soy sauce
oyster sauce
oil
black pepper
baking soda
corn flour
Steps:
Clean frogs and mix with 5 tbs soy sauce, 2 tbs oil, 2 ts pepper, 1 tbs baking soda, 3 tbs corn flour, stay in the fridge to season for 40mins
At the same time, add one cup of rice with 2L of water to cook porridge on the side. After the water is boiled, use middle fire until the rice is soft and porridge is sticky. (If it is becomes too dry, remember to add boiled water)
Heat oil, add garlic, spring onion(a quarter of it, leave the rest for later), ginger, fry for 1 min
Add 3 tbs soy sauce, 3 tbs oyster sauce, 300ml water, pinch of salt & pepper mix well
Take frog from fridge, add all of them, and mix fry for 2mins
Cover and keep the dish cook for 5 more mins
Add 4 tbs corn flour, add 3 tbs dark soy sauce, add rest of spring onion mix until there is a little sauce left and it is sticky
Now the frog is ready, if you have claypot, heat it with fire, then add frog and porridge together. We don’t have claypot, so we just simply put frog and porridge in a big bowl and mix.
